As the video above described, VRote will combine rote teaching with up to
date, Vuzix video eye wear to deliver subject matter to each student according to the speed with which they can learn. This will allow teachers to guide students at various grade levels, and variable speeds, all while maintaining complete immersion in lesson plans and due to the A/V glasses they will be wearing, distractions and side conversations will be limited. VRote Lesson files will be free, and will compound over time as each lesson is designed and added to the database. However, VRote is not intended to take the place of the teacher in a classroom, and while it may be effective as a learning tool, it will not be able to administer philosophy, rhetoric and logic.
The ability to read is of course one of, if not the most important aspects to learning. VRote will explain all areas of grammar, including sentence structure, parts of speech, and vocabulary.
Literacy
At the end of each lesson viewing, students will write down all information they can remember for five minutes, after which they will each recite their list to the teacher who will then write each students list on the board. and that will take up to ten minutes, making each scheduled class 30 minutes long.
Writing
With VRote, students will be able to master times tables, geometric formulas, trigonometric functions, and more at a personalized pace.
Mathematics
Star Charts, Chemical Elements, Anatomy; VRote has limitless possibilities when it comes to science.
Science
Geography
Teaching a student every country, every river, and every mountain range no longer has to be a task left up to the instructor. VRote has the potential to teach a student every country in africa in alphabetical order in a single day.
Physical Education
While you can't exactly play basketball with VRote, you can very well learn types of sports, rules, and understand healthy ways to live and exercise!
